Chamber Committees

Chamber Programs/Committees – Members are asked each year to select areas or committees that are of interest to them.  A new Plan of Action is presented at the January Annual Meeting containing the goals of the incoming Chairman of the Board.  In addition, vice chairpersons are elected to cover the six or seven divisions under which the objectives are assigned.  Committees, some on-going, others organized to accomplish a specific objective.  Example: RiverFest is an on-going event that has a combination of new volunteers and others who have been working with the festival for 10 to 15 years.  High priority programs currently are Workforce Development, Area Wide Development, Small Business Survival, Leadership Etowah (a partnership with Gadsden State), Chamber Student Council, just to name a few.
